Moksha yoga is a dynamic system of postures and breathing exercises specifically designed to be practiced in the heat. Moksha classes are intended to open, strengthen and detoxify the entire body. The traditional 40 posture series is done in a 90 minute class, though there are 60 & 75 minute condensed versions. Suitable for all levels. CLASS TYPE: Heated

In this class the Moksha sequence is linked together with vinyasa flows. Emphasis will be on the synergy between breath and movement to help you deepen your practice. This class is always moving, and is set at a quicker pace than a Moksha class.  It is great for upper body strengthening and improving cardiovascular health. All levels welcome, though beginners are encouraged to feel comfortable with the standard Moksha series first.

Vinyasa yoga, in which movement is synchronized to the breath, is a term that covers a broad range of yoga classes. This style is sometimes also called flow yoga, because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance. The postures or asanas are connected through the breath for a transformative and balancing effect. This style of class will build heat, endurance, flexibility, strength. The creative sequencing found in a vinyasa class is often built around surya namaskar (sun salutations). Vinyasa as a form is always evolving and teachers weave together wisdom teachings, poetry and/or music that can inspire physical, energetic, mental, intuitive, and pure bliss states of consciousness. Yin is both a gentle and challenging yoga practice.  Poses are held for 3-5 minutes, stretching deep muscle tissue and fascia. All poses are seated or reclined. The slower nature of this practice is often described as a "moving meditation".  A great compliment to your regular practice. Suitable for all levels.  CLASS TYPE:  Reduced Heat

Karma classes take place every Friday evening at 8:30 pm with a minimum donation required of $7.  This is a regular Moksha series practiced in one hour. All proceeds go to a different charity each month. An affordable class for someone looking to see what this "yoga thing" is all about. No passes. CLASS TYPE: Heated

Throughout our busy lives we may sleep, but rarely take time to rest. Restorative yoga helps us learn to relax and rest deeply, it is a particularly effective practice for those recovering from or living with injury or illness. With the use of props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, along with gentle attention directed toward the breath, we alternately stimulate and relax the body to move toward balance. In a dimly lit room with soft music each posture is held for 5-15 minutes creating a state of deep relaxation and well being.

Yoga poses with a synchronized dance movement of the Hatha flow. Hatha Flow is known as a "breath synchronized movement" the instructor will move from one pose to the next on an inhale or on an exhale. CLASS TYPE: Heated
